We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Marion County, Mississippi. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret.
