The role involves: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying You should have: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
