Immediate opening: press shop operator (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Full-time with occasional weekends.
