Furnace operator wanted in Adams County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Adams County, Washington. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
