Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Rotating shifts.
