Join our team: structural MIG welder (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in New Kent County, Virginia. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 4+ years on the tools preferred.
