On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
