Vacancy available: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Boone County, Illinois. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; refuel the machine and record running hours; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear. You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
