Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Fall River County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
