Kitchen steward — Nottinghamshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Nottinghamshire, England. The role involves: • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift Requirements: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts Six days a week, one day off.
