Marble fitter — Lewis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble fitter in Lewis County, Washington. You will work in a stone processing yard. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding The role involves: • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish Rotating shifts.
