The role involves: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
