Wheel loader operator — Switzerland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Switzerland County, Indiana. The role involves load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
