Urgent requirement: EHS coordinator (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in City of Danville, Virginia. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Six days a week, one day off.
