Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Taylor County, Iowa. You will be based at a residential building site. You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift.
