Great opportunity: we are hiring a general labourer in Sumner County, Kansas. The job is on a commercial building project. On the job you will handle: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
