Structural MIG welder — York County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in York County, South Carolina. You will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
