Great opportunity: brickwork mason (Connecticut)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. The role involves: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Full-time, day shift.
