Refrigeration service engineer — Perry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Perry County, Alabama. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs Day to day you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
