Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Pike County, Georgia. You will work at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
