Fabricator-welder wanted in Lee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lee County, Mississippi. You will work at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
