Vacancy available: ironing operator (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Calderdale, England. The job is in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases £13 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
