Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Chenango County, New York. The job is on a construction site. On a typical shift you will glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
