Join our team: we are hiring a coating plant operator in McHenry County, Illinois. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. The role involves: • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns You should have: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
