Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Cedar County, Iowa. The job is at a plant nursery. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors The role involves: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines Full-time, day shift.
