Vertical milling machine operator • Stephenson County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Stephenson County, Illinois. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. You will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
