Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Lincoln County, Nevada. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Day to day you will fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
