Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Taylor County, Wisconsin. You will work at a halal meat counter. The role involves take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Six days a week, one day off.
