Heavy goods vehicle driver — Morrow County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Morrow County, Oregon. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Overtime paid at a premium rate.
