Core maker — McKinley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in McKinley County, New Mexico. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
