CO2 welder — Waseca County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Waseca County, Minnesota. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
