Press machine operator — Dorset

Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Dorset, England. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Day to day you will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £1,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
