Crane rigger wanted in Gilmer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Gilmer County, Georgia. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
