The role involves load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
