Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Putnam County, Tennessee. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. On a typical shift you will rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; refuel the machine and record running hours; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
