Heavy equipment operator — Torrance County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Torrance County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. You should have: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
