Dogger wanted in Nash County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Nash County, North Carolina. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
