Immediate opening: fusing press operator (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Franklin County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 2+ years on the tools preferred.
