Presser — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Jackson County, Georgia. You will work in a busy laundry. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
