Foundry worker • Miami County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Miami County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
