Vacancy available: lathe programmer-operator (New Jersey)

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Union County, New Jersey. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
