Core maker wanted in Liberty County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Liberty County, Florida. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Six days a week, one day off.
