Lathe operator — Deschutes County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Deschutes County, Oregon. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. Your main tasks: • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
