Toolroom milling operator — Iberville Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an automotive components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
