Immediate opening: elevator technician (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Rush County, Kansas. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Part-time with flexible hours.
