Dry lining plasterer — Orleans County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Orleans County, Vermont. You will work on a busy domestic building site. Your main tasks: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Requirements: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
