Rebar installer — Fillmore County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Fillmore County, Nebraska. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
