Immediate opening: marble mason (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a marble mason in Hale County, Texas. The job is in a natural stone fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps You should have: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Part-time with flexible hours.
