Mobile crane operator — Evangeline Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
