Great opportunity: press operator (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Sioux County, Iowa. You will work at an auto components factory. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Full-time with occasional weekends.
